Rear disc question
« on: 29 April 2011, 10:42 »
It says I have to add grease to the stub axle, atm it's red greasy stuff, can I use copper grease to lubricate it or not :undecided: Sorry if that's a stupid question

Yer was a stupid question! The old wheel bearing that came out of my old disc doesn't fit my new disc now! Is my new disc wrong then, wouldn't surprise me, they only sent one instead of two anyway. Idiots.

even if you get the bearing out it'll fail very quickly if refitted to another disk.

one of those parts you replace just because it's to much potential  bother not to
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
