Fell through, I had other things I wanted to do and stop do before tying down to a big commitment like that. Plus Ruby is is much better condition than when you last saw her now. :)

Bad times. Well me and the mrs split a few days ago so thought I'd treat myself to a new polo r. Posted a pic in the main vw board. Only difference is mine has black roof/sunroof.

I saw the Polo R recently, looks really nice. Kinda glad I didn't get the SEL in the end as I would of been pissed that they released the R a couple months later lol!

Sorry to hear you and the Mrs split mate.

Wheels are coming along nicely. I'm also getting the bolt heads lightly polished.

After looking back at photos I realised I really didn't like that, I'm wanting it to look as standard as possible but with subtle mods. Hence going back to silver. Gonna look sweet once done.

Thought I'd try grabbing myself a Highline rear boot badge as they look nicer than the normal ones in the car, managed to get one cheaply off eBay. Should be with me this week.

Also thinking of putting standard rear lights back on for a change up. Take it back to almost complete standard.

I have being searching for a highline boot badge but they have gone up in price!! (I won't pay more than £5 for one!)

oh and I am looking at doing my rims at some point.......they have being refurbed but I have an idea  :lipsrsealed:

can you do a write up on your refurb (I am going to buy a spare rim just so I can spend time doing them 1 by 1)

Some are going for £30! I got mine for a tenner which is reasonable I think.

I will try a write up but I'm not painting them myself, soooo....
