I'm putting mine back to original silver. I am keeping them original as want to keep the general look original too.

My plan was to do them oem silver, but I want some colour, so might do the inner barrels red  :rolleyes:


O and I would of never tried to split them without knowing I have free access to a full metalwork workshop  :evil: came in handy, especially the milling machine when the bolt extractor tool snapped inside the drilled out bolt, not fun!!

Even more reasons why I really am not looking forward to splitting them lol! I'm planning on either BBS Gold or Alpine White centres with either polished lips or painting sparkling glass effect :)

Going to be getting them sandblasted next week and hopefully painted the week after. So I'll have a nice new set of shoes for the car, that's my Xmas present to her when really it's for me. :grin:

Apart from one bolts snapping it was easy. Just the bolts were f**king tight!
