A thorough check up at your favourite VW dealer.
Then good expensive and thorough valet.

Then make your mind up.

I keep looking at your stunning sig and thinking you may, just possibly, keep it.

Car is now at local body shop,my wife has been to see it and says its not in too bad a condition but is very dirty. They are going to change all the wheels and tyres, brakes dics and pads and anything else they notice. They are going to give it a clean before i go and have a look over it and change the locks and keys and recode them, once this is done they are going to get it up on the ramps and give it a good check over.Is there anything else you can think of ?

P.S The car has apparently been involved in a major incident :undecided:

Not had chance to go and have a look yet due to work but my mrs seems quite happy with the bodyshop they were very thorough ,they are going to check the engine and under the car once the locks/keys are sorted, they decided to change wheels/tyres and brakes without us telling them so hopefully it will be a painless experince. Not sure what the theifs have been upto in it but there is a 68 page incident report due to a major incident invloving the car and occupants.

Looks like it may be time to sell and get yourself a new car. Seeing as it will be claimed through your insurance anyway.... would it be so bad if you had a minor lapse in concentration and accidently drove into a wall??  :lipsrsealed:

Body shops aren't all that special when it comes to finishing touches. See if you can get it booked into http://www.elitedetail.co.uk/ for the full works.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
