You should get an engineer from your Insurance Company to carefully inspect the car. If you are unhappy with their findings, you can employ your own Independent Engineer.

I am not sure whether to congratulate you or be sad that your car has been found. If it has not been damaged, then the latter may be in order.

All the best.

To be honest I did not want it back if only because I did not want the hassle of having it sat on the drive, the car was immaculate inside and out. Either way the mrs says its going, so once its back to perfect it will be sold.
It was found 40 miles away after a member of the public reported a car being parked up in his street and not locked up in the early hours of the morning.

Seems strange it wasnt locked as they had the keys!?

Hopefully it'll be undamaged and you can sell it on pdq.

Good news (I think), at least you can sell it on for full value rather than battling with the insurance co.

If that's what you want - personally I'd want mine back but that's just me.

Thieves Scum sometimes park them up in case of a Tracker fitted, maybe in your case it was just 'joyriders' as they didn't even change the plates.

Don't worry too much about the kids - they are very resiliant.
My dad had his car nicked twice when I was young and I turned out OK (ish)

Will it affect the warranty that it is stolen recovered? :undecided:,

If it has been driving around with the orginal plates on in a west mids crime hotspot of nine days i will be very unhappy.

Warranty should not be affected.

I would consider getting some different plates.
