green wire is connected to the rear window demister switch (not needed)

yellow is positive (+) ignition live

brown (-) is earth


Its been 3 years since ive fitted mine so if it catches fire. dont blame me :grin:

best i can do.. best idea ive got anyway is tae a picture of the plugs on each end.. makes it obvious which wire leads where at least, think john may have a diagram to which could help!  :smiley:

D/11 - electric mirrors ign live feed
K/12 - heated mirror glass

CE1:
E/15 - heated mirror glass
G/1 - electric mirrors ign live feed

should i splice the live into anoter live, or is there somewhere that i can connect it to withough soldering/cutting anything? want it as neat as possible...

if its a 90 spec you might have a spare black wire from the D plug hanging about round the back of the fb, if not you'll need to chop a plug out of another 90 spec VW and pop it into the missing D plug pin on your fusebox.  Check my fusebox FAQ for more information :)
