Everything from my Exhaust to my air filter is declared, so yeah! If you can't afford the extra insurance costs then don't do the mods...simple!

Whats the point in spending say £800 on insurance,  then a remap exhaust etc etc, when you wont be covered , you have to tell insurance company, i mean christ stickers and induction kits wont make it go faster , but if your doing serious things like super charger, changing turbos, its a must!

Yer is a stupid idea mate, cost to do the conversion, then to get the chassis up to handle the extra power, would be over 2k probably.

Just get an 8v or something, up to you if you don@t tell the insurance but if you do have a crash or something then you'll be in debt big time! Or even killed ...

why are people still replying to this thread? if they can only afford to insure a 1.4 they cant afford to buy and then fit a turbo/charger. Its like saying what if my aunty had balls? it wouldnt happen and neither is this conversion
