hub bolt stuck on mk3 golf

im trying to change the drive shaft on my mk3 golf (passengerside) and the bolt and treads are completely f*cked, its not going anywhere, i tried using some scaffolding bar and all it did was bend the the metal i put it on!!!.
what can i do will i have to cold chisel it off?

erm, pictures required , cos how the hell has the thread been damaged, the nut usually only just covers the end of the threads

will get pics tommorow, as im at work in an hour, there is like 4 threads showing, and the person before must have given up and just battered it to try get it off but was unsuccessful

Very strange. 

Unless it was cross threaded.

3/4 inch drive breaker bar will do it.

looks like they have been chisiling away at it and all the threads are destroyed as in flat? 
i really need it off as my driveshaft is gone

Doubt it's that, they are fecking tight. I literally lifted the car off the axle stand undoing it.

Needs to be a 90 degree, not at all bent, bar and it will slowly loosen.

If it's THAT bad just angle grind the showing threads.

You tried to undo the nut when the car was on stands?
