4WD without winter tyres is still not good enough for freezing conditions though better that 2WD.
I'll have my £1000 winter rubbers on and will be more than fine. I'll be whizzing in and out of traffic whilst you will be stuck in your bloated Pigvan.

It was not the tyres that stopped the use of my mk6 this past winter. It was how deep the snow was, the front of the mk6 was way may too low to go anywere

2WD with winters is better than 4WD with summers.
