yep as far as I know all non working warning lights will be a mot failure soon.....

So would this mean that for all those that have fitte aftermarket non-airbag steering wheels they'd also need to retro fit a non-airbag / ABS warning light panel on the dash from a lower model?

or fit a resistor (which should be supplied with the boss kit..I know momo include them)

But that would still leave an airbag light on the dash, does the resistor stop it lighting or just let the airbag ecu do it's initial checks then switch off the light as if there was an airbag still fitted?

a resistor lights the bulb and then turns it off like normal

Ok. Personally i wouldn't want a pointless light flashing on and off every time i started my car and would change the warning light panel but I guess most people wouldn't worry about it as long as it passed the MOT. Im just fussy like that though.

my airbag lights been on for about a year now, no idea why it just randomly came on one day and I never got round to finding out why Guess I better investigate

if thats the case surely you could simply take the bulb out the clocks for the airbg warning light and mr mot tester would never know!

yh the air bag just plugs straight into the connector on the car


this red connetor is the airbag connector and just gose straight thru the mk4 wheel and into the airbag. the mk3 and mk4 airbag connectors are the same

after i pluged the mk4 airbag in, i turned the engine on and the airbag light came on and then went off as normal
