mk4 OEM head unit in a mk3

just wondering if you can put the head unit for a mk4 head unit single din in to a mk3 without to much hassle?

You should be able to fit any single din HU in a single din hole.

Does it have a display elsewhere on the dash normally as you'll obviously loose this.

Wiring wise it'll be practically the same

cheers for that, i am sourcing the single din HU mount that in the dash the the cd player in the glove box, the display i take it is on the speedo which yeah i wouldnt be bothered about
