Right i'm in the hunt for a new car got my eyes on the above, but the GTI has got 6000 on the clock demo car on a 10 plate at 27 grand leather ,RNS, DSG, winter pack, I think its got xenon's. The GTD would be a 5 month wait , the Tiguan would come through in May. My Mrs wants the Tig and I want the other ones ether way ??

Your views and thoughts would be nice to hear thanks guys

PS bare in mind its got to be a 5 door due to new baby.

I changed an Outlander 4 X 4 for a Golf GTI. The wife wanted another Outlander for the higher up driving position and a feeling of safety.

Thankfully the GTI won the day. If you really want to enjoy your driving go for the GTI. My wife now loves the GTI and so far it's as piratical a car as we need.
If MPG is an issue then the GTD is for you , just remember it is a heavier car and although still good to drive it's not as agile as a GTI.

The Tiguan is one ugly lady which through a short time will want you changing car. Piratical but no fun.

Steve: Listen to the Captain. Get a GTI or a GTD with five doors and forget about that horrid thing with a name that thankfully escapes me.

Just realised that it's called a Piguan.

Have you seen the size of the boot in the Tiguan steve????

Its not exactly Pram friendly, alot smaller and shallower then the Golf...

Id get a 5 door Variant of what youve got personally if the GTD already ticks your boxes mate.
