I'll sort this sticky mess out later when I'm on my pc or iPad  ;-)

and yes I'm working on a bi-xenon solution for the works van ;-)

My decision not to buy them at point of order was not borne of cost but in justifying the extra expense considered the car is driven in London 90% of the time so you never really get the full benefit. However, I prefer the look of them and I'm getting out of London more and more. They actually cost less than factory fit, admittedly, it's not like for like as I have not put the AFS controller in. It's £127 so I'd come out about £220 less than factory specified excl washers.

You would also need the 2 AFS power modules@£130 each, self leveller@£120 and the wiring loom@£80 so works out at about another £600

Not really investigated it properly Mike but you just gave me a reason not to do it. I don't see the value in the feature but I'll spec it from factory next time. Lesson learned.

The van looks good but you might want to check the copyright implications of using one of VW's images.

Tell me more...

I've had legal issues in the past with BMW GMBH regarding a product I was selling, if VW are half as easy to do deals with I'll be ok ;-)
