That has grown on me, wheels look better than when I first seen them

TBH the wheels looked nice on the car.

I do like the colour.

The colour was the nicest ive seen on a MK6, could really see the metalic flake in the sun.

Would i have one if it was available in the UK?

HELL YES!

I saw this too at Inters today - it looks great in the metallic red.  But the standard rear bumper needs something different to tie it in with the sideskirts and new front bumper - perhaps the diffuser in gloss black to match the door mirrors and front lower grille insert.

Nice colour and pictures. Wonder if it still has those gaudy seats.

The seats were in the same tartan cloth as the standard GTI, but with leather bolsters (I think) and 35 on the headrest.

@mac7: Thanks regarding the seat combo. Glad they saw sense.
Fanatastic colour. I wish the GTI was available in metallic red.

Also saw this at Inters; colour is fantastic but there's not enough differences between it and the standard GTI to make it look like a special edition

Very poor effort IMO compared to the previous Anniversary models

I'm still on the fence with the 35.
It looks nice, but not that nice.
It's going to be too expensive unless VW drop the prices in a mk6 stock clearout before they tool up for mk7 production.
It will be too close to the R in pricing once you've added a few options, will be not much quicker than a normal GTI as standard, not as economical to run, will probably cost more to tax and insure and doesn't look that much different.

So all I can sum up with is it will look good value in 3 years time at about half the original cost and no warranty conditions to upset with the obligatory remap.

Love the colour but evertime I see those wheels I picture VXR astra's wheels

Having said that they have grown on me but I prefer the 'Iron Cross' wheels as an option.

The only slight issue with the colour is - you won't be able to have it!

Not available.
Every desireable model of mk6 VW have released press shots for have been in this colour - the 2009 Worthersee Edition, the Excessive (or whatever it was called last year), some of the pre production Rs and now the Anni 35.
But you can't have the colour.
