Just looked on one of the German sites and the Edition 35 is set to be announced in the 2nd quarter of this year

On another note, in the same thread the MKVII is scheduled to be announced in the 2nd quarter of 2012

^^^^^^

That info falls in line with what usually happens. VW tend to announce 6 months before a launch.

So the Mk 7 GTI should be here summer 2013. Four years from the launch of the Mk6.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.

Perfect timing. VW have practised the rhythm method as recommended for Catolics by their German Pope.

Be interesting to see what they do with the new Anny version engine and power wise.
I just hope they don't upset the low rev power delivery of the standard mk6 GTI.

I'd read that it looks mostly like the Worthersee edition model from last years show.........

Which I don't like.

Not sure if I will get one now or wait another year for a mk7 GTi, as it will be out so soon now.

The MKVII GTI would follow around 10/12months after the launch of the MKVII. This is generally what has happened with the MKIV onwards.
