How many swear words...

...do I shout between hearing the crunch...and discovering this:





Fortunately, armed with the knowledge of having 4 'spare' wheels in the garage loft, I was able to calm myself down a bit.

This morning a Courier delivered a package I was waiting for...and instead of his usual 'Hello' upon me opening the door, today he says 'Tell you what mate, you made a proper job of that front wheel'
Hmm...

So, new wheel retrieved, tyre swapped over, scraped wheel (luckily only the coating that was chipped - the alloy itself was OK) dropped off to the powedre coaters for a re-furb.

Normal service resumed in under 24 hours from the unfortunate VWR wheel/Kerb interface issue.

Bloody hell mate that looks bad , yes its very painfull when it happens  :sad:

It looks like you have no rubber on that wheel  :grin:

Surprised you didnt hear or feel that. Do The alloys stick out past the tyres?
