ARP Rod bolts

Hi does anyone know where i can buy a set of Arp con rods for a 16v kr i have searched but have had no luck. any pointers would be good thanks

Out of interest, why are you looking at uprated bolts? Do you run a very high rev limit or stock?

Hi thanks for that i have had a look but i cant seem to work out which ones i need? i knew they would be £100 or so
The reason i wanted to use arp bolts is when i have checked my engine to put it back togeather one of my bolts is streched to the point where it is thin in the middle so i think its better to change the lot and vw want all but £7 each plus vat for standard ones so i may as well buy the arp ones for peace of mind. one other question is i know the standard bolts need to be pressed in which means i will have to remove the rods do you know if its the same useing the arp ones? thanks again for the help

Fair do's  . Get on the phone and ask of you dont know wat you need lol. Makes me wonder what we did before the internet  .
Yep, same for the ARP ones, should be a case of press the old ones out and press the new ones in as far as I know. At least getting the new ones in wont be as hard as getting the old ones out as you can tighten the nuts up to get the new ones in (use an ali spacer if the bolts wont fit all the way through the cap). I think I would be pressing them out with the cap installed too btw, at least to get them moving.

Standard bolts will be fine, from memory they are not pressed in, can be replaced with a small hammer.
