I'll get a few pics in the daylight without the flash. I think it looks good in person, expecially as my opinion is the mk3 plastic wheel looks a bit dated.

Well at the end of the day if you like it keep it, its your car

Not much to post on the progress front, apart from the suitcase box in the jetex started rattling! Baffless had gone, so got a bit of pipe welded in instead.
Have to say, its made a very nice change, as the noise is now fantastic, but its still quiet at a cruise.
I'll post a vid up comparing the two exhaust notes.

Otherswise my mate whos a dab hand at photography took some pics of the car the other night, I think its come out ok

Looks like a great colour to work with, wish mine was blue sometimes, can get a real deep shine from them.
Can't really argue with anything you've done so far, other than the debadged grill, it's all about the blinging VW badge if you ask me!
Blue pinstripe is inspired, a nice change from the standard-issue red.
Get it lowered, I think the weather now counts as being nice?  Will really unify all the mods you've done so far and give it an air of completion.

It is being lowered next week, as i break up from uni for easter.

It was a bit embarassing, as i went to my mates all jdm meet with a vw and still had the highest :embarassed car there!

My badged grill is a bit knackered, but as this one has picked up a ton of stone chips i might ask my gfs dad to respray it.

Its lowered!

Its still settling a bit, but will get a little lower.

Also got a new rear bumper on

Got both track rods changed when the tracking was sorted too, the drivers one was fecked! The end undid a little bit then just fell off.

Also was greated by a puddle under the car

The hydraulic engine mount is fecked and exploded.
Tried to change it today, the big bolt in the middle is spinning and won't come out
Plus I took the clutch cable off to get a bit more space, and it adjusted to its tightest setting and won't disengage the clutch

So today I broke more than I fixed.

You fit one thing and another one breaks...bad luck mate hope you get it sorted.

On another note car sits nicely...what did you use to lower it?
