Yeah, going to solder in some UV LEDs.
Doing it slightly differently to everyone else though. I'm leaving the green lights in, so I'm kinda hoping for a back lit needles effect without sourcing new needles etc. So with luck the needles will glow nice and blue under the light.
My old car had plasma dials and blue leds in all the switch gear, looked

but was a bit bright and a bit hit and miss with some of the light intensity etc.
I took the plunge with some paint, some special home-brew stuff off the bay thats blue all the time, but bright blue under UV, supposed to be brighter than acrylic so we shall see.
Decided to keep the front lights as they are - white in OE place, normal in indicators, and just got to find some nice bright ones for the number plate.
