Seat runner clips only cost a few quid from eBay. Tierod69 normally has them in stock.

I'm running LED's in my side lights and I like them, they'd also look good as number plate lights :afro:

With regards to your clocks, are you soldering in UV led's?

Yeah, going to solder in some UV LEDs.

Doing it slightly differently to everyone else though. I'm leaving the green lights in, so I'm kinda hoping for a back lit needles effect without sourcing new needles etc. So with luck the needles will glow nice and blue under the light.

My old car had plasma dials and blue leds in all the switch gear, looked  but was a bit bright and a bit hit and miss with some of the light intensity etc.

I took the plunge with some paint, some special home-brew stuff off the bay thats blue all the time, but bright blue under UV, supposed to be brighter than acrylic so we shall see.

Decided to keep the front lights as they are - white in OE place, normal in indicators, and just got to find some nice bright ones for the number plate.

I've been looking through some of the different paints available from the person off ebay I bought the UV paint, and found this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PREMIUM-Glow-Dark-Paint-30ml-Choose-colour-/150554147059?pt=UK_DIY_Material_Paint_Varnish_MJ&var=&hash=item68c73491a9

Got the old cogs whirring. It's white during the day apparently, then glows whichever colour you chose in the dark.

If I painted the backplate part of the rear badge with this paint, do you reckon it would look  or . So the badge would remain black, but the back would be white in the day, and then whichever colour at night.

Opinions?

I had a rethink with a head that wasn't full of fumes, I agree.

Ethyl actetate, 100% ethanol and acetone along with over working don't make for sensible decision making.

I've only just remembered I've left the speed-vac on as well. Ar$e
