Hold down your sub...ideas and pics please!
« on: 25 March 2011, 11:29 »
Hi Guys,

I have a mk2

I have recently had to re run phono leads down the side of my car due to the sub bouncing around and ruining my old phone leads.

How have you held your sub down? i used velcro stips on my old car but in the gold the lining is carpet and the sub/amp is fluffy so that wont work.. all ideas welcome.

Cheers

You should still be able to use velcro strips to stop the sub moving. Trim some of the fluff off.

I used to use bungee cords until I made a boot build.

As he was going to Halfords, I think the loose sub hit him on the back of the head and killed him.....

Yea i went into halfords under cover just incase i was spotted

Yea got some velcro on the bottom of the sub and it sits very nicely now so i can go round right hand bends without worrying my phono leads will smash into the side of the sub.
