Its been a while since i have done an update on this so i thought i had better do one
So i have finally got around to spraying all the rust patches, they turned out ok, i think i have worked out a way to tidy them all up but i cleaned the car today to see how it looks

Some reflection shots

The bumpers looked terrible before so i did a before and after using auto bumper care

Bumper care on the right before on the left

Pretty much finished of one of the 4 arches
Before

After

Pretty happy with the result not bad for a couple of hours cleaning

hopefully that sorts your engine problems out, have a check the plugs are on the right cylinders when you put them on

Yeah well when they turn up i will fit them
Had a forum member tell me how to set the timing up and where to place the cap so should be all good
Ordered some sparks aswell now, so just need money for leads, as my filter is pretty decent

Well dont get much of a chance to update this but i have done a fair bit to the car now, dont have many pictures but i will post the ones i can find
Right so i have now done a full service on the car, minus ht leads...... need to get some money together for them, so i have finally got rid of all the gunk in the oil and solved the miss fire, but now i have come across a new problem, witch is,....... the revs seem to stick at like 2k and 3k and wont go back down all the time, now im not sure if its due to the auto choke maybe? but when i unplug this plug (not sure what it is) It then begins to idle perfectly fine?

So if anyone knows what sensor this goes to and what it does that would be great
ok so whilst i was trying to solve the problem i thought i would clean the tb whilst doing that i found this.....

Would this make an air leak or is it pretty tight seal still? if so are these expensive?  :undecided:
Also finished the front end looking good i think

If you know the others to any of my questions would be great to here them thanks :) Going to make a post in mk3 section aswell
