i was actually looking at this a good few months back.. if you take your OEM mounts off you can split them with a chisel.. (only do this with an old set as you wont be able to reuse them because the oil inside them will leak out).
 you can buy poly 2 part resins to make them but you need to make silicone moulds too.. it can get quite expensive so youre probably better off buying some off the shelf.

I'm going to replace my mounts with stock mounts this weekend then do a bit of experimenting with my old ones, Ill let you all know how I get on with it.

Getting the stock mounts from VW is pretty pricey and yeah people are right that for not much more you can get THS ones but GSF seem to be the cheapest place to get stocks mounts.

There £57.50 + VAT for both left and right, Unless anyone knows a cheaper place to get them then let me know. Im just going to replace the bushes on the done bone.
