There should be a wire that you connect to the handbrake - what is that connected to (some people earth so they can watch DVDs on the move)?

Can you watch anything if the car is on or off?

there is nothing connected to the handbrake and that could be it you know, what colour is that wire?

I bought the radio of the Bay without an installation booklet or anything so dont know what else i need to connect up to be honest!! looking at the loom there are a few wires that have been connected up and cut to remove the radio but they dont have the label on them anymore

Can i use the earth that the radio uses to enable on the go movie watching??

cheers,
thank you very much for that, i now need to find an installation manual/guide to figure out which colours in the loom are for what as there is a pink and blue one that have been used but do not have a tag, and i think one is for the handbrake and the other for the rear view camera switch.
