I was under the assumption that the drivers side driveshaft will catch if you go silly low.I will be using a baffled,shallow r32 sump so shouldnt need to raise the engine.
Im also going on what Bucksfizzturbo is doing on his 
Im only 1 and half inch of the floor (sump) and not 1 issue with driveshafts, i was under the assumption if i want to go lower then id need to raise the engine - thus some notching. Again i'll happily be proven wrong
Also been looking into the r32 sump mod, something i need to do since im living on borrowed time
Just rebuilt my vr and id rather keep it full of that sweet engine nectar... expensive mod but worth it
