my 2.0l 16v gti does the same thing :| try spraying dw40 on the accelerator engine side or move the pin up by one

having problems a bit like yours.check the hose that comes of side of intake manifold and follow it back,it connects just behind the brake reservoir.mine was split and caused all sorts of grief...

FOUND PROBLEM I HAD PUT AIR MASS ON WHICH WAS FAULTY UNPLUG IT AND TRY IT NOW GOES WELL
