Infact i was watching 2 16v's and 1 8v on ebay over the past few days thst were local to myself and all three went for around £400ish.

sounds over priced for a mk3 with that milage and a cat c u could surley get one else werere for that price

Hum sound advice I can afford more than £500 I just assumed that was cheap I guess eBay is the way forward or classifieds here I will get my barge!

Yeah theres some nice examples on here,Edition38,gumtree and pistonheads all pretty good.

As stated already by everyone else already it's a buyers market at the moment, especially when it comes to mk3's. I wouldn't touch it personally

I'd say £500 would be what you'd expect to pay for a mk3 8v in really good nick. I can't see that a cat C mk3 8v would be worth it any price due to the current prices of decent cars...

Its simply the fact its a trade seller. If you were buying private, you would probably pay half that!

Well you guys have put me off but in a good way
tried to get the guy to go lower he wouldn't budge so back to scouting eBay and auto only issue is not many in my area Cheshire except green and green is my unlucky colour
