Cheers, I'm 80/20 at the moment it's, when I park it next to a standard one I'll def know.

Only had the car a month and couldn't wait to do it. Think it borders more on the 'R' than the 1.4 now.

But hey, some will, some won't. It's like alloys I dislike most of them, that's why I haven't decided on any yet, still on 17's
Arrived 15/5/17 Mk 7.5 R Lapiz 5dr DSG, Prets, Pan Roof, DCC, Rear View Cam.
Our other car is a Mk7 GTI DSG 5dr Tungsten, Vienna, Rear View Cam, Park assist.

Whoopsie Daisy! Just realised what you have done, so I neither approve nor disapprove.

But I'll leave mine as it is from the factory.

Right! At least your honest enough to admit it  I  wouldn't ever do anything too outrageous but as I'm retired have the time, why not. I was going to buy an R which probably explains why

Looking at it more critically, it makes the car look narrower and taller, which I don't like.

Lucky, lucky person! Nearly there myself.
Beautiful job, though. Most impressive.

IMO that would look a lot better with the lip at the bottom painted black/grey, nice tidy job though mate!

I've seen the lip painted red, but too tarty  for me.

Go for a dark grey modern little beard. Break-up the monotony of too much white and unnecessary and pointless Golf R emulation.
I might also go, at some stage, for an anthracite goatee myself.

A photo next to a stock set up car would settle it

Another option for the bottom splitter would be carbon wrap film (from 3M)

Nice one! Now that's got the juices flowing. It's curved so might need some working on but....watch this space!

Relatively easy (he says) to apply - important thing is to use a heat gun or a hair dryer to warm it and then it will follow the contours - I've thought about doing my rear diffuser but that's another idea!
