£179 fitted and £124 subscription per year for the basic retrieve option.

I'm thinking about it.

Anyone got one? How much did you save in insurance?

I have one fitted to my car, reduced the premium by just under £40.

I am only paying £7.50 per month subscrition though.

When I checked a year ago, my thieving Insurance Company offered me a £20 discount.

Just had a quote from Saga. £300 fully comp with a £75 excess. Must ask them about a Tracker discount.

Hi mustard

Do Tracker provide any visual warnings such as key fobs or stickers in the car?

How did you get the cheaper subscription?

Any thieving scum would think twice if they knew a tracker was fitted, do Tracker provide any sort of deterrent?

No stickers on the car, I wasn't even supposed to see where they put it, but I watched the guy install it, so no deterant value

You get a key fob, which is more a return your keys if you loose them them advertising.

When I was getting a quote before I bought the car, one company (LV) would not insure me unless I had it fitted, and the one I went with gave me two quotes, one with and one without. I had to send them the invoice to prove I had fitted it after I bought the car.

Thanks mustard

The only thing that concerns me is someone breaking in during the night and sneaking upstairs (I always take my keys upstairs (I know the arguments but I'm not going to make it easy for the scum).

If they see tracker on the keyfob (if they can read that is), surely they'll think twice.
