I was going to leave the above sentence as 'one inch can really make a difference', then realised the company I keep on here and decided against it.
But you put in anyway?!
Yeah they are nice wheels

What Kitty Cat really meant was, even with the extra inch it would still tiny..

Nicely said!

17's are too big on mk3's.  How would tyre stretch affect the drop?  Is there an equation somewhere?  surely a 195/45/16 on a wide wheel would have a different radius to a 195/50/15???

I'm not disagreeing Wayne, I've just never been able to work it out.  If a 16 would fit I'd probably go with that.

Although this is elementary as the wheels don't yet exist

It is not exact as such but a 8x15 and a 8x16 with the correct size tyres and offset will work out the same in terms of clearance.

So taking in what you guys are saying, it looks like we would need to make the 5x100 wheels in a 16" then.

thanks for your help!

Hi Sean, did you see this below from an earlier page? If you are interested in a set you can allways come down and take a look.

Oli

"Hi Guys,

I am Oli, one of the Directors of Bullet Wheels,

We’ve had a few questions through Ebay from people mentioning your forum so we thought we would come take a look, and have read your comments with interest. As you are aware we are a brand new company and the “Bullet One” is our first design to hit the UK market. The company has been 18 months in the making, from finding the right supplier to adjusting the design to accommodate the measurements and spec we wanted. All our hard work came together as we received from our manufacturers the first batch of our new rims last week.

We have noticed that there are a few sceptics out there questioning the quality and finish of our wheels due to lack of feedback on Ebay. We understand you holding back and in order to put your minds at ease we will be offering 10 sets of our wheels at the special price of £325 exclusively for forum members. This offer is only available through e-bay as we want your feedback and intend to be creating wheels for you guys for a long-time to come!

We are positive that you will love these wheels but as always, just in case, you are more than welcome to return them to us if you feel they are not for you!

Please either message us through Ebay or give us a call quoting the code

â€˜COME ON LADS LETS HAVE THEM A LITTLE CHEAPER’

To take advantage of this exclusive offer. (First come first served!!)

We are on hand to answer any questions you may have so please don’t hesitate to call or PM me on here. Also if you feel like the drive or live in the South you are more than welcome to come and view the wheels yourself! We are based between Alton and Basingstoke in Hampshire.

Thanks in advance for your support and business, keep chatting about us!

Cheers,
Oli"

I'd certainly be interested in 16" 5x100's. Are you guys on Edition 38? They'd probably love them as well
