Made in China means mixed / poor quality also no TUV approval, not something I would risk.

On some products this is the case but admitedlly the seller has already stated that they've specified that the wheels are to have extra welding around rims for increased strength.
Ive just sent the guy a message as im intrigued into these myself and to whether he has any plans on suppling rims for the 5 stud masses.

The trouble is and I know this from the cycle trade what you ask for and what you get when dealing with China are very different.

Labour is very cheap, to give you an idea, a company I use ordered 400 cycle frames, only 45 were able to be sold the rest had problems.

Saw that... what were they thinking?

What I find even funnier are peoples comments on the article "This wall is just like the walls of the British government."

I don't know what kind of crack they're smoking over there.

As long as those wheels are good though, I'll be happy!

those wheels look very nice. not bothered about the feedback scenario as if pade with paypal you can claim monies back should it go the way of the pear. id be interested to know the process of manufacture and spec of steel & chrome finish used and if the regs meet Eurpean standards.

on the made in china comment...thats where a large part of the worlds steel comes from so i dont see too much of a problem with the quality of it!
