Well thats it running not sure how but i had a play aboutb in the fuse box and she burst into life.

so what did you do? Or was it just a case of wiggling wires?

not sure mate to be honest unpluged and checked a few plugs replaced a relay that sits on top of the fuse box 57 i think and she started more luck i think.

thought you said you changed relays bud! but nice one for getting it going

Yeah a got new 30 an 167 from vw and took the rest from a scrap motor but a never took the one on top of fuse box but realised it's the same number as another one so changed it then, all the rest had been changed. Also had a joint at the rear of fuse box that wasn't great from where the alarm immobiliser was ripped out so redone that too, think it was more that than the relay. I used the fuse box thread on here an it was a black wire that went to ecu an coil.

Also has anyone any idea why my driver side window goes down when I press up and up when I press down? Changed the switch as it felt a bit dodgy wasn't clicking when pressed still worked though but thought that was the problem but just done same thing.
