First points in Mk6 !

I have been driving for 16 years and never had a single point, until this morning. I 'accidentally' jumped a red and got myself 3 points and a £60 fine. Damn !

All my points have been awarded to me when riding my motorbike, never had points in a car.  Have a feeling I might get a few in the GTI  :evil:

Unlucky mate.  Gd work for not getting any in 16yrs!  Although ppl go through red lights all the bloody time where I live and it really pisses me off.

I had no points for 3 yrs till I got my Civic Type R.  I got 3 points within 3 months of owning it.  These days im very careful, or at least I try to be!  The worst thing with my points was it made my insurance go up by £70  :sad:

You could go on a speed awareness course and not have them, if you can bear the pain (and £80-ish cost).....?

Why the worry, have you been a naughty boy/girl Jo (like me)...? As you haven't got them straight away, I assume that they might be derived from speed camera's or other stationary devices........transfer them to your partner !
