Why the worry, have you been a naughty boy/girl Jo (like me)...? As you haven't got them straight away, I assume that they might be derived from speed camera's or other stationary devices........transfer them to your partner !

As, after 16 years of driving, these are my first points (trust me, i've been lucky!), do they go after 3 or 4 years...?

Four years from the date of offence  :sad:

Got my first 3 point last year, after having a clean licence for 24yrs! Sitting at traffic lights on red and my phone rang - answered it and a cop car drove past the opposite way and clocked me. Done a sharp u-turn and pulled me. Gave me a ticket without hesitation  :angry: Didn't have handsfree as was in a different car at the time. Live and learn...

Never had any points, but 3month insta-ban in 2006 for doing 118.5 on the M74 one dark Sunday night.... learned my lesson that night
