Hello mate! Only just got round to reading this thread :) I love what you have done with the wings, a bit puzzled as to why you opted to fit larger side repeaters though lol! When do you aim to get it all painted up?

Nah not yet. I still need this to commute in and as it stands the 16vT whilst getting me there quickly isn't renowned for it's fuel efficiency. Have an idea of how to make some proper ITB's. Manifold will be getting fabbed up over next few weeks as and when I get time. Time is at a total premium at the moment though as working to buy things means I have no time to play with them. Catch 22 :undecided:

Cheers, slow going but I'll get there.

reason I have used "larger side repeaters" is that a) They are off the very early mk3 from which the ABF was taken which in turn will tie in with various other wee mk3 touches that will be tied into the theme of the car, b) This way there will  be no "grey area" when going for MOT as would be if they were smoothed. c) it's flush fitting and the originals stuck out which bothered me d) I wanted to show off my welding/ fabrication skillz

As for getting it painted, there are plans afoot but we'll see how it goes.

, yes forced induction of some description is an the cards, but not for a long while yet. I've not finished pissing around with Nasp yet.

Let me know what you'd like specifically and I'll draw up some blueprints and figure out a price for it.

Ordered a whole replacement 16v lock set for it c/w steering column + 16v key, OEM baby, my car will open with one key :smug:

Cheers, not getting much time to do anything other than work, college and sleep at the mo'. I mean this is me just in from work and had my tea (that my beautiful fiancée made) after leaving at 8 this morning

But I am buying bits, which usually results in a dramatic leap forward when I get the time to bolt it together.
