Seem to only get sweeties for them.

Knowing me though, I'll squirrel it away for another project (1047hp 16vT anyone?)

Have you seen this? it's bonkers.

I almost certainly will.
Could perhaps make the ultimate sit on mower? Or perhaps the best alarm clock in the world? List goes on

As I'd mentioned previously I'll try and keep this up to date. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, and we all love pictures...

Ordered a few bits and bobs. Took inspiration from this forum and ordered up some R32 rear wishbone bushes.

Also stitched my wishbones too. Had to figure out how to fit the 15kg wire into the welder without a suitable carrier.

Next ones I do will be better but these aren't bad for a first attempt.

Nipped off and went to see the Foo's with my Mrs. Good times

Etch primed

Proper primed then  painted, couple of coats. Looks almost OEM.

I have to make a suitable tool to put the bushes into the wishbones but I'll prob's do that this weekend.

Will add a few more updates to bring it right up to present.

Aye been to see them a few times now and they never fail to entertain.

You know a G clamp and some sheet steel might be the ticket.
I was thinking way more elaborate with the threaded bar I had sitting there
Will give it a go to begin with then worst case I can always make something.

A mate is getting back to me with a spare SEAT gear linkage. Also picked up a spare subframe and almost new rear mount for princely sum of nothing.

Considering stitch welding the subframe too but not too sure about that, may be a bit extreme for a road car. I'll see how I do for time.

Shouldnt take long. I like the make shift spacer for welder aswell. I thought stitch welding a subframe wouldnt do much as there fairly solid.
