Anyone got a strutbrace?

I've just fitted all new engine mounts, now the engine sits so high/forward in the bay that the throttle body pulley catches on the strutbrace. Anybody else had a problem with this kind of thing?
I've taken the brace off and it drives fine.

did you get the right mounts? i shouldn't have thought it should make that much difference in the height of the engine?
