5x112 to 4x100 redrill:
« on: 08 February 2011, 10:49 »
Is it safe?

Is it possible?

How much does it cost?

Will I need a sh¡tload of balancing weights?

Cheers.

Have seen wheels welded up and redrilled but it is not something I am keen on.

Why not run adaptors.

Adaptors are expensive, but I'm going to make up some I reckon.

You can't run all 5 bolts, unless you make it a certain way. You'll see what I mean if you placed 4x100 and 5x112 on top of one another. I'll see if I can pull out the adaptor pic Danny found, its pretty complex and I'm not sure how reliable it is :(

if offset isnt an issue get custom adaptors ,if it is then redrilling can be an option

We deal with lots of redrill's (split rims only)
Ive got two sets and is very popular. We are probably the only ones who will weld up non-flatbacks.

Mine required little or no weights and have not heard any bad reviews on the other sets as its done properly!

Prices vary from each set. You may also need a spiggot ring.
