Standard gap should be closer to 0.7mm and not 1.2mm

Some plugs cannot be gapped, check your set are fine for gapping first, or alternatively purchase a set that comes pre-gapped to 28thous (~0.7mm)

Just would like to tell everyone that reads this thread in future that my plugs were at 1.1mm and I suffered from dip in acceleration almost as though my car was holding back, So I changed the gap on my spark plugs to 0.7mm and my god she pulls well instant throttle response! Think she's back to 200bhp :')

1.1mm is only good when you have mk5 coil packs on the 1.8T...
