Swimming Pool in footwell?

OK as title, in passanger foot well front and rear is a swimming pool, Pulled carpets back expecting a great big hole, found nothing, there are some black rubber plugs in the footwell, wondering if they sometimes leak or are there any other obvious places?

Well, seeing as it's containing the water ok, the hole is probably not in the floor. Check seals around doors/windows? Finding the 'highest' bit of damp you can might help. Water tends to head downwards easier than upwards.

Hosepipe on various parts (from outside ) might help. Aim it at dodgy places and see what comes through.

Probably a blocked sunroof drain.

well absorbed as much water as i could with sponge so ill guess well see in morn if its being sprayed in from underneath or its dripping in

As said check the sunroof drainage holes by pouring water down them and also check the drainage holes in the wings by pouring water down them. They are located in the wing under the scuttle panel. These usually block up with the leaves etc. Another one could be the doors. I had a problem where the water was sitting in the bottom of the door and for some reason my drainage hole in the door was clear but the water wuld not run out. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of my door and the problem was solved.

Some good replies here, how do i find the sunroof drainage holes? didnt know It had any, sorry for stupid question btw !

Slide the sunroof back and the drainage holes are located at the two front corners. Pour water in them and it should come out at the bottom of the wing.

sunroof drainage holes working, dryed it out, ill just asses it over next few days, I can see this becoming frustrating!  , pollen filter full of leaves too btw, cleaned out.
