radio not keeping memory?

my car radio (aftermarket jvc i think) is not saving the radio stations even when the button is held and it shows up with "memory", wondered if there's anything I can do to sort it out?

swap the red and yellow wires over ie put the red from the car to the yellow on the radio

Usually just bullet connectors with transparent plastic casing.
Pull em apart and put red to yellow and vise versa
