There's bound to be a scrap yard close to you with a mk4 or mk5 Golf (Octavia, Passat, Jetta, Leon etc etc) in there. Just get on the blower to the local scrappies and find out which one has a suitable car in stock. They'd only charge you a few quid for the bolts, probably including the VW lockers as well.
I'd loan you mine for a few weeks if you were close enough, but as I'm in the deepest darkest South West I doubt that 's the case. Shove a wanted ad up quick and also on mk5golfgti.co.uk forum as there's probably a member close enough to you with a set going spare or even loan you a set for a few weeks.
I wouldn't risk fitting wheels to your car with the wrong bolts, begging for trouble (unless you're only going a mile or so down the road and back) and your insurance would make a meal of it if anything happened.
You can worry about the bolt covers at a later date, there's loads of VAG ones that will fit the OEM bolts, even the super shiny ones from the Toerag will probably fit okay. Audi do darkish grey ones, Skoda and SEAT do black ones that are hex shaped and there's the round ones like on my wheels which are standard on a mk5 and mk6 Golf.
