Seriously there is no need to spend money on postage, as long as you have the first style of clocks it is so easy that a monkey could do it!

You need to whip your clocks out to see what type they are, if they're the easy type you should have no probs doing it yourself. Get them out and post a pic on here and i'll soon tell you what you need to do

My clocks are they ones that require the led soldered so not the easy ones! i have the screw in bulbs for the lights shining on the clocks but the green  bits annoy the F*** out of me!

Ah bugger! I've got a set of clocks like yours that are knackered anyway so i'll have a play with them and see how I get on. I'll let you know if I feel confident enough to try yours, the last thing I would want to do is to knacker someone else's working clocks :lipsrsealed:

This is what I did yesterday.

Kept the clocks blue, but stuck the old green bulbs back on for the LED display.

You can take the green filters out of the LCD's too.

I made some out of an old binder that was translucent blue. Red works OK.

But I have no idea if tehy still work as it's an old scrap set of clocks.

It does involve stripping them down though.

I'll do a better guide at the weekend with clearer pictures and extra LED installs if you want? Then if the mods feel it necessary they can sticky that instead of this one, as it will be less cluttered with chat.

I've got UV led's on the way to fit into mine along with extra blue ones
