Silicone piping (Charcoal canister)
« on: 27 January 2011, 23:33 »
Hi does any one no if I can replace the original black rubber pipe that come off of the top throttle body That goes to the black box Thingy( charcoal caniser). With normal blue silicone hose(like you would use on the top of the dump valve but with bigger interal diameter obviously lol) or does it have to be oil resistant? Thanx ian

Na mate the black box in-between the header tank and the screen wash bottle it's the little pipe on the top of the throttle body. Its the box Thingy that has the little valves on top

Haven't had it all off mine to check diameters but the bit that connects to the throttle body was 8mm. I just used silicon hosing and it's all fine :)
