So the Mintex M1144 ones will fit an early ('94) 16v?  Will be needing some new pads soon and stumbled over this thread ...

All 16v were 288mm I think  So no.

I need to buy some decent discs, however I've run out of money with car insurance and the brake pads now, so may have to wait a while longer for that.

no mk3 8v,16v and vr6 pre-95/6 have the same 280mm setup, then post-95/6 they all changed to the 288.
