what is this called (pics)

just wondering what this is called it is a plastic piece with water pipes around it and a sensor i think its a thermostat housing and has a slight leak what is the propper name for it and where would i get one asap as its my daily drive thanks  ps the car is a mk3 golf gti 8v

Has the temp sensor, just go scrappers and get a other 1 mate :) I think they all the same!

Not sure of the exact name but I replaced mine recently and it cost around £15 (incl the associated clip and blanking plug) from VW dealer spares

will have a drive up tomorrow and see if they have one the leak isnt that bad so can still use the car for now

gsf sell them for dirt cheap, its called a water flange. do the side one at the same time as it wont be far behind if front one is leaking. they comer with new seals plus gsf also do the sensor seals too

Is it cracked and therfor leaking? or is it the seal thats leaking?... if it the seal then remove, get some sealant round it and then re-fit and should do the job, atleast till a new one is sourced

NO IT IS CRACKED WHEN I SQUEEZE THE WATER PIPE I CAN SEE IT COMING OUT OF THE PLASTIC NOT MUCH BUT ENOUGH TO WORRY MY
