weird idling

hi ppl when i take the car out of gear pull up to a junction etc my revs drop really low and keep goin up an down had this before but just went away on its own until now its happening again any ideas whats goin on cheers ppl

Mate got simillar problem, I would start by check breather pipes make sure there no holes or splits in the pipes, next step is to try the MAF after not sure but I'm sure will point you where to look next, is yours agu engine?

Maybe have a look at throttle body and see if that needs cleaning?

Vag com it, if its an actuator fault then its the TB otherwise it would be a boost leak

i had the same problem when i changed the battery but i think that was the ecu resetting itself because it was ok again in a few days
