Tiger seal or PU sealer to give it its correct name, is not actually the correct product for this type of thing, it is meant as a sealer for gaps on automotive body joints, to stop water penetrating into a spot welded seam, and the like. Another property it has that it can be painted over within an hour of application. Parts stuck on cars with Tiger seal, can literally just drop off without any warning! once the bond starts to deteriorate, it can be a very short time, before it fails completely, people that have used it, and had no problem, will still understandably swear by it, but trust me, its the wrong product for the job
The correct product for the job, and readily available for a similar price, is the adhesive used for bonding in windscreens, and its primer that is applied by a swab,
