It could be argued that a 'GTI' should be N/A and not turbocharged, but let's not go there....  :lipsrsealed:

Very good point...

This site has evolved and moved with the times but the main focus is still about golfs regardless of their engine.  I welcome all VAG cars and even non VAG in off-topic as most of us have had to move on due to sickening petrol prices.  My daily now is a Mazda!  :lipsrsealed:

If we were to start outcasting non GTI golfs the sites activity would drop dramatically.

Putting Diesel aside, what about the rest of the non GTI's, how many VR's and G60s are on here now?.... You've got some fascinating theads like the 24v turbo caddy! a quattro powered golf......and then there's all the MK3's!  :lipsrsealed:  the list could go on forever but I appreciate all of them and the people that put their time into this site.

Those that think they are true GTI nuts should take a look at what they drive and compare it to some of us that really put the work in to make our cars what they are today.

Over and out.

IMO it was inpressive and crap at the same time hell did it pull but that was the only fun thing it it did it just wasent fun to try and drive it fast down twisty roads  it was like all the GTiness had been extracted :(
that's exactly what my pd mk2 was like.  Wasted effort imo.
