Can anyone please tell / show me where the engine speed / crankshaft position sensor is on a mk3 gti 2.0ltr 8v engine code ADY.

I have read several threads and cant find a conclusive answer.

Please help asap as car of the road and I think this is the solution??

Thanks

It's located just behind the oil filter/ oil cooler at the front of the engine block. They have very restricted access so it's advisable to remove the front engine mount bracket to get a good hold of the tiny hex cap headed bolt.

+1 - easy enough
You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.
